What is a pre-order?
In order to control or forecast the demand and supply for toys, toy manufacturers and distributors set pre-order deadlines. Pre-order deadlines are usually set 4-6 months prior to the toy release date. After the pre-order deadline, we cannot add our orders from suppliers, therefore pre-order slots are limited from that point forward.

What advantages do I have when I order before the pre-order deadline?
Your order is put in high priority. When you order before the deadline, it is almost always guaranteed to be available for you once the item is released.

Can I still order an item even after the pre-order deadline?
Yes, we normally order extra stocks of toys. But please take note that after the pre-order deadline, we usually cannot order additional stocks from the distributors anymore, therefore it's a first-order-first-serve policy until supplies last after the deadline has passed.

I noticed that other pre-order items do not have deadlines.
These pre-order items without deadlines are subject to first-order-first-serve basis until supplies last.

Some items are scheduled 6 months from today. Are these prices final?
These prices won't be changing unless the Peso value drops big-time from its current value or fuel prices rise dramatically. So let's all pray for WORLD PEACE.
We will do our best to maintain these prices or even lower them for you even if the Peso value falls. However, when we have our backs against the wall, we may need to change the prices a little bit. The price change will be relatively close to the originally stated price & will be proportional to the dollar exchange rate.

Is this all that you will be having for the next few months?
OF COURSE NOT. These pre-orders are just coming from a few of our suppliers. We have a lot of suppliers for our various merchandise and some of our suppliers don't have pre-order lists. We will eventually be having other toys as they come out in the market, so please continue to check our site regularly for more updates.

Where can I place the down payment for my pre-order?
The best way to place a down payment is a cash payment at Wasabi Toys store & remember to keep your receipt.
As for our fellow anime & toys fans outside the metro, you can deposit the amount to our bank account. Please remember that inter-regional deposits have a P50 bank charge, so you can make the down payment deposit together with another purchased item or something like that. One important thing to remember is that BANK RECORDS DO NOT DISPLAY THE NAME OF THE DEPOSITOR. And YOU WON'T BE THE ONLY ONE MAKING A PRE-ORDER DOWN PAYMENT. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you deposit a random amount close to the minimum required (like + P3, P10 or P15) and kindly e-mail us of the amount & date, then we will confirm with our bank.

Why is the toy I pre-ordered not yet available even after its scheduled release?
Schedules and item description information are only passed on to retailers from manufacturers, such as Bandai, Yamato, and Kotobukiya. We do our very best to keep these information as accurate as possible. However, there will be moments when manufacturers decide to release a product earlier or later than the scheduled date. And something like this is out of our hands. We are merely humans, whereas manufacturers are like gods.
When an item isn't released yet after 15 days after its schedule, then you can opt to use the down payment for another product or a refund.
For example, if a product scheduled on August is not yet available by September 15, you can refund your deposit or use it for other products.

You said that I am guaranteed to get the toy that I pre-ordered, is it really true?
Yes, you are guaranteed to get the toy you pre-ordered if you placed the pre-order & down payment BEFORE the deadline.
When you place the pre-order after the deadline, then your pre-order will only be subject to the available stocks when the item arrives in our suppliers' hands. Well, that is a high 85-90% probability in our experience, unless the item is stated as "Limited" or highly demanded.

I saw the same product I pre-ordered already available from another shop. Why doesn't Wasabi Toys have it yet?
There will be some cases like this. Our pre-order lists & schedules are based on absolutely reliable and certified suppliers/wholesalers. When we promise a pre-order to you, it will be well kept because the product will be coming from these certified wholesalers. However, some items may be scheduled 1-2 months later than the Japanese schedule because they are being outsourced outside of Asia. But the bottom line is that you will get your goodies in due time! Patience is a virtue.

Your pre-order schedule says that the new toy will arrive 2 months from now. Why do you have it in stock already?
Some of the stated pre-order schedules are later than the Japanese release date because we frequently follow the schedules given to us by certified & highly dependable wholesalers from different parts of the globe. Therefore if we are able to outsource a new toy earlier than the stated schedule, we will try to do so. The earlier the better, right?

I can only go to Wasabi Toys once a month but I don't want to ask you to send me my order. Can you hold my pre-order for me when they arrive?
Most certainly! Normally, we will hold your pre-order item for 15 days after we send you the notification of your pre-order's arrival through text messaging or e-mail. If we do not receive any confirmation within 15 days and your pre-order item is still unclaimed and unpaid, we will be forced to revoke your down payment & sell the item.
In case that you will need to extend the 15-day claim period, you can notify us through e-mail ([email protected]) and we can extend the period to the maximum of 30 days. Beyond 30 days, we will need to ask you to let us send you the item through Xend shipping (It won't cost you much, really.). If we do not receive any notification within 30 days, we will again be forced to revoke your down payment and sell the item.
We are making this policy because, in realty, there are people who forget their reserved items. We hope for your understanding and support regarding this matter.

Can I cancel a pre-order after making the down payment?
Sorry but we cannot do that for any reason.
Please MAKE SURE that you are willing to wait for the scheduled release of the item you pre-ordered. We understand that some of our fellow anime & toy lovers cannot wait to get their hands on their goodies. But please be informed that as soon as you place your pre-order & down payment, we pass that order on to our suppliers. We may not cancel the order from our supplier because of their company policies & IT WILL RUIN OUR SUPPLIER RELATIONSHIPS. Remember that we want to build great relationships with you, but we need to have good supplier relationships first in order to do that.
We do not claim that we always have the lowest pricing. If there is that slim chance that you see a slightly lower price than our products, you still cannot cancel your pre-order. We mark our prices to the best we can & we are confident that they are good prices. If ever, IN THE NAME OF MOTHER EARTH, you see a lower price than us, we are confident that our price won't be far off.
